RE: Looking for a Majestic Dryer drum belt

Mr. Mitchell,

I have found the secret to decoding metric belts usually lies in the number printed on the belt.

What I’ve found: Your belt is probably marked “5PJ1270” or “PJ1270-5” (the “dash” can also just be a space or two in-between.) The letters “PJ” stand for “Poly-v -- J-Series” which tells us the type of belt and size of the ribs. The number immediately following the “PJ” is the metric length measured in outside circumference, usually millimeters. Use this online length converter if you don’t have a metric ruler. Any number before or after the “PJ1270” would refer to the number of ribs, which is sometimes silly because anyone can just count the ribs and there you go... I can only guess that you have a Majestic, Maytag, or Admiral dryer as those “PJ” metric belts seem to have been common among those brands.

I found a supplier that sells USA made 5PJ1270 belts direct to consumers online. You can buy just one, or two and keep a spare handy. Always in stock and low-cost Priority Mail shipping so you’ll get your replacement belts in a matter of days.

Hope that helps! Read More...

Looking for a Majestic Dryer drum belt

I"m looking for a dryer belt: 5 rib 50 inches long.
I've used Huanyu 5PJ1270, Fengshou 5PJ1270, and will try a Jiali EL1292 J5 if nothing else is available.
They are used in a Majestic brand clothes dryer. The drum will jam with lint, stall, and snap the belt every now and then, so I like to keep them on hand.
Can you help me find some better belts, preferably made in the USA?
Thanks!

RE: Need YERFDOG Clutch belt

LOL! I didn’t mean to freak out, but I’ve been looking forward to this event for a month and -- POW! -- the clutch belt breaks while my uncle was testing the new torque converter he put on. When i googled for it, it seemed that every place I looked was backordered. So I learned my lesson and bought TWO spares from Belt Palace’s online belt store and I plan to keep them in the trailer at all times.

They even sell clutches for go karts so I bought a spare and saved a bunch on shipping.

Thanks again for the quick reply!

RE: Need YERFDOG Clutch belt

Jason, first ease up on the caffeine. Second, you should try www.beltpalace.com. I sent you the link in an IM already... Belt Palace It is the only place I know of that has the Comet Belt #203591A and Yerf Dog Q43203W replacement in stock and shipping same day (as of the date of my post).

The also stock Murray, Manco, USA Motorsports/Sportworks, Sears, and other Go kart clutch belts in case any of your other karting friends are in a big hurry, too.

Thanks for the contribution!

HELP! Need YERFDOG clutch belt ASAP!!!

RE: Ryobi Sander Belt 150XL037

Ms. B.
Sometimes the manufacturers of great products make small errors in their choice of belt suppliers. Case in point, your Ryobi Sander comes with an OEM belt made overseas, and very cheaply. I personally recommend buying a Bando/Gates 150XL037 timing belt for your BD4600 sander. Also called a “timing belt” or “synchronous belt”, Bando and Gates both offer very high quality, made in USA, competitively priced replacement belts. If you can’t find one at your local hardware store, try to shop online for timing belts. The best price I’ve seen is at BeltPalace.com for under $4.00 plus shipping. As usual, I recommend ordering a spare to keep on hand just in case your husband gets carried away with his projects.

Ryobi BD4600 belt. 150 XL 037

Good afternoon,
Could you help us find a belt for my husband’s Ryobi BD4600 sander? He just got it for Christmas and already the belt it came with has snapped in two. There is some Chinese or maybe Japanese writing on it and then the number “150XL 037”. What is a good brand to get?
We appreciate your help and look forward to a reply,

RE: 8192 Manco Go Kart Belt

It took me a while, Amanda, but here’s where to buy that MANCO belt for your son’s go kart. Should be exactly the same as the original Manco 8192... but it won’t cost as much so you can be happy about that. Plus, they make them with a raw edge that will boost the power of the clutch belt! I’m sure that will make your son happy, too. :D

You can confidently buy the Manco8192, Comet 203593A Go Cart Belt for your son’s Cart

Thanks for your contribution!

Where do i buy a Manco 8192 Go kart belt?

I am looking for a Manco 8192 go cart belt. Does anyone know where I buy them? My son needs one for his Go Cart.
Thank you in advance!

RE: 5HP Craftsman Air Compressor Belt

Clarence,
You have a Poly V 460J6 belt. If you check it, It should measure to be 46 inches outside circumference and the six “notches” are normally called Ribs in the industry. Poly-V and Micro-V belts are known as “ribbed V belts” and, if available, the number following the “J” designates the number of ribs. Sometimes the manufacturer leaves the number following the “J” off because of the way the belt is cut from the raw “sleeve” which may have hundreds of ribs before it it cut down to size and the size number is silkscreened onto the belt. You can buy 460J6 belt stock from a number of reputable suppliers. If you have trouble with the air compressor manufacturer’s website, I alway start with Belt Palace’s online store to compare prices. They always seem to have items in stock and offer same day shipping.

Thank you for your contribution!

5HP Craftsman Air Compressor Belt

I have a Craftsman 5-HP Air Compressor that I need a motor belt for. The only number on the belt reads “460-J” and it has 6 notches on it. It’s a pretty old compressor so I don’t know if you could suggest something to replace the belt. Please let me know if you have an answer. The Sears website didn’t have much on it. :(

RE: Comet Industries Belt

Once their factory closed, lots of Karting enthusiasts were left wondering where to get belts and clutches for their Comet Go Karts. Some of the suppliers stocked up on them, many did not.

Thanks for checking here first, but you may need to specifically search for the right comet belt for go kart model you have. If your local cycle shop doesn’t carry them anymore, try this Go Kart Belt store.

Thank you for your contribution!

Who has Comet Industries Belts?

“I found out that Comet Industries has closed and nobody around the city has a replacement belt that fits my Comet Go Kart. Do you know where I can order them online?”
